Deuteronomy 26:12,13
When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled; Then . . . .

    I have included the scripture above to remind us of the people God ordained to receive His tithe. He's a people God! We need to realize that when the people received wealth from the temple (no matter what form it was in) they knew whose wealth it was. The God of Israel's! Everyone knew the temple had to do with the God of Israel, even strangers to the land. When the tithe was delivered, everyone knew it was the God of Israel giving it to them. He got the credit.
    At the cross God raised His Son up, establishing, first below the earth, then in the earth, and then in Heaven, once and forever that His Son is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, over all His creation. God loves His Son and the Bible says that He is exalted above everything in heaven. God proved it to me by showing me in a vision that Jesus stands taller than the throne of God. No jealousy on God's part here! A righteous father is also that way here on earth. He would give his son all his wealth here on the earth. It's his inheritance!
    In the temple, God Himself got the credit in the dispersal of the tithe. Since the cross, Jesus is to get the credit in the dispersal of the tithe. God is out to exalt His Son in the earth. God even ordained that for a person to get saved, they must confess their belief in Jesus to another person on the earth. Why, because God is exalting His Son in the earth!  That's what changed at the cross concerning the tithe! What a righteous God we serve!
