God spoke to me and said,
"You know how the ceremony takes place!"

One day, just out of the blue, when I was busy going about my business with worldly things the Lord spoke to me,."You know how the ceremony takes place!" I said, "What?" He said again, "You know how the ceremony takes place!" At first I didn't have any wits about me and was thinking, "What ceremony?" Then I realized He was talking about the marriage of the Lamb! At that point I began meditating on what He had said, thinking, "I better not argue with the Lord, I've done that enough." I sure couldn't recognize having that information, as I'd never thought about the marriage ceremony, itself. I told the Lord, "Well, if You say I know how, I know how, but I can't put it in words." I knew it wouldn't do any good to study, because I knew the Lord would have to give me the understanding even though I did think about it off and on.
About three or four weeks later, I suddenly understood. Covenant! In the wedding ceremony, the couple comes into covenant! Of course! The ceremony takes place when the individuals (or the church) come into covenant with the Lord. When one gets saved they have worked that particular part of the covenant. But robbing God, or being intimate with men rather than Him and doing things our way, makes us harlotrous towards God. We are not in covenant! We live under an established covenant but to be in covenant is where we want to be! There is a great difference!
It's no different than an upright man taking a wife here on earth. If she is loyal, spends his money the way he wants, and basically treats and reverences him like a King, the man will treat her like a Queen. He becomes her protector, provider, and there is nothing he wouldn't do for her. They are in covenant. The two are one, in purpose, etc.  They agree, they are of one mind!
However, if the wife doesn't handle her husband's funds correctly, they are not in covenant, they are not one. If the wife looks at or is intimate with other men they are not in covenant, they are not one! But they are still under a covenant! It doesn't matter if this is done in ignorance! They are out of covenant, they are not one!  They do not agree!
It is pretty easy to translate this over to the church as a corporate body, as well as our personal lives. When we as individuals get into covenant with God, we will come into covenant promises that are not being enjoyed by Christians today! Christians should have the same protections Job had!  We must remember, one of the reasons God lifted the hedge from around Job was so we could see the protections he had.  (see What is happening when I don't give my tithe or, in faith, give it to a church that is unknowingly spending it for harlotrous purposes?Job was in covenant with God, as well as Paul the apostle. Paul got out of covenant when he disobeyed God and he wound up in chains. Paul was warned through God's prophets and he lost his protection when he didn't heed God's message. He was out of covenant with God when all this happened.
Jesus was protected because He walked in covenant. The Word of God and what God meant when He said it, is the established covenant. To covenant together is to come into agreement, not only with words but with acts. God established the covenant we must walk in to be in agreement (covenant) with Him. To be in covenant with God, the church must do her part correctly.  This is done by coming into agreement with what God ordained she should be and do, as His partner in marriage.
There are protections that come from being in covenant with God. When Israel was in covenant with God, they won wars without a scratch. God fought their battles, as a man would for His wife. God will show Himself strong to the Bride and the world when the Bride comes into and walks in covenant with Him. Until she does, she will remain harlotrous towards God and vulnerable to the wiles of the devil!
God is looking for a people who will walk in covenant with Him. He loves mankind and wants to show Himself strong on man's behalf. He told this ministry,."I desire to give you the prize!" He wants to, but He also told me that He wants to build something that can not be destroyed. I didn't understand this at the time, but I do now. He wants to build something the devil can't destroy, steal from, and so on! It's a Bride who is supernaturally protected to do her last day's work in the earth! It all comes down to coming into covenant with the Lord! For the church to get married to Jesus it must come into covenant with Him by coming into agreement with what He has ordained she should be and do, as His partner in marriage!

What makes a church a harlot, or a Bride?

To understand "Harlotry" one must realize that it is an act. A woman is called a harlot because of her acts, not because of her nationality, or who she is. A person is called a liar because they lie, not because of skin color, or nationality. So we see, who a woman is has nothing to do with whether she is a harlot, or a Bride. It comes from her acts! From this we see "the church," whom God refers to as a woman, is either a "harlot" by her acts, or a "Bride" by her acts.

God said Israel (a large number of people) played the harlot:

Hosea 4:15
Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The Lord liveth.

The Lord speaks from His own mouth:

Ezekiel 23:5
And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine.

We must realize that only people who belong to God can play the harlot! God never said the other nations around Israel played the harlot because they weren't betrothed to Him. Only a Christian, a Jew, simply a believer, can play the harlot when it comes to God. We are not talking about unsaved people. Salvation is not the issue or the difference, when it comes to the acts of harlotry, or the acts of a Bride.
Israel, by her acts, was in trouble with the Lord when she played the harlot. Therefore, God did not move miraculously on her behalf. The harlot church, who is the Lord's church, is also not in His will. Why? Because of her acts. Jesus is going to reward a cleansed woman, a woman fit to be His bride because of her acts of Bride-ship as a corporate body! To see the harlot you must know her acts and to see the Bride you must know her acts. You can not see either one without knowing the acts of both. Remember, it is the acts of a woman that determine whether she is a harlot, or a Bride.

What's forgotten: The Foundational, Spiritual Law of Righteousness and Its Fulfillment.

Righteousness is a foundational act that the Bride must fulfill to come into the right position to be the Lord's wife. That position is a position of authority! The following will help our understanding.
There is a spiritual law that says righteousness covers sin. That is what the prophet Daniel knew when he told king Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:27 . . . O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; . . .. If you will take an overview of all the prophets in the Bible, you will see they all knew about this principle. The reason was that, the Bible says God, Himself, teaches prophets. Throughout the Bible God sent prophets to the heads of nations to convict them to do righteous acts because of the power of righteousness to break sin and produce life. That spiritual law, the very thing we are talking about right now, is why (the legal reason) Jesus' righteous blood could break the back of sin and its power over our lives. If it weren't for this law, Jesus' blood would not have covered our sins. Yes, Jesus fulfilled the law of righteousness by practicing righteousness every day.

It is found in Proverbs.

Proverbs 16:12
It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.

Looking at both of the above scriptures, we see if Nebuchadnezzar had heeded Daniel's advice, things would have been different. The king could have broken off his sins and reestablished his right to the throne, simply by working righteousness, . . . for the throne is established by righteousness.

Because Jesus walked in righteousness, God was legally able to establish an everlasting throne for Him (because of this spiritual law).

We need to see what the Bible says about Jesus and others practicing righteousness. When He was baptized by John, Jesus said it was fitting that He should fulfill all righteousness. Thus we know that baptism in water is a righteous act in God's eyes. The word of God in Psalm 112 is talking about any man who fears the Lord, so Jesus had to and most certainly did fulfill this principle.

Psalm 112:9
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn (strength) shall be exalted with honor:

We see a picture here. "Any man who disperses, (gives out) to the poor on a continuous basis, has put on righteousness, or has obtained righteousness. In the book of Acts it is revealed that Cornelius was a man who feared God and gave alms to the poor, and look what it did for him. It moved God!

Peter is explaining that Cornelius had worked righteousness.

Acts 10:34,35
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh (practices) righteousness, is accepted with him.

What had Cornelius done?

Acts 10:2
A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.

Alms is something (money, food, clothing, a deed of mercy) you give to the poor; and as a work of righteousness, it moves God on your behalf. In Cornelius' case it moved God to send an angel and caused supernatural events ( angels, visions, etc.) to get Cornelius saved. According to Peter, Cornelius practiced righteousness . . . and prayed to God always. This story is a perfect example of why James said in James 5:16 . . . The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. A man who works (practices) righteousness has more pull (power) with God than a man who doesn't practice (do) righteousness. Look at what the angel said to Cornelius in Acts 10:4 . . . Thy prayers and thy alms (act of righteousness) are come up for a memorial before God. This happened in the New Testament! Cornelius had a memorial in Heaven because he worked righteousness. Jesus had the biggest memorial in heaven because He worked righteousness continually.
The Law of righteousness will never change or be done away with. It was evident in Nebuchadnezzar's day, in Cornelius' day, and Peter even talks about righteousness being in the New Heaven and the New Earth.

II Peter 3:13
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

This is why, when the Lord showed me the new heaven and the new earth, I could only describe what I saw as life, so much life! The act of righteousness produces life! The labor (act) of the righteous tendeth to life: . . . Proverbs 10:16.

Look at Acts 10:38 where Peter is talking about Jesus.

Acts 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

We need to see that Jesus went about doing good all the time; and along with it, He healed all who were oppressed of the devil. Jesus gave so much, all the time. This is why the disciples missed what was really happening when He sent Judas out to betray Him.

John 13:27-29
. . . Then said Jesus to him, That thou doest, do quickly. Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this to him. For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

These men were so accustomed to Jesus sending Judas out to give to the poor that it caused them to miss what was really occurring. The thought of Judas going out to purchase something for the feast came because the feast was what was going on at the time.
From all this, we see that Jesus fulfilled the law of righteousness, which in turn gave God the legal right to establish His throne. The Bride, as a corporate body, will fulfill the same law. When this really happens, God will establish her position beside the Lord! Could Jesus, so pure and clean, marry an unrighteous body, a spotted woman called the church? The law of righteousness will work for us just as it could have worked for Nebuchadnezzar, but he chose not to heed to the words of the prophet, "Show mercy to the poor". Working righteousness produced for Cornelius in a big way. It worked for Paul, too, because the Lord told me, "Paul gave alms, and that is why the power of God was so manifested in him." The prayers of a man who works righteousness availeth much!
You can work righteousness for yourself and have reward, but that is not working for Jesus, nor does it really bring attention to Him. The Bride will work righteousness for Jesus, bringing attention to HIM. Delivering His treasury (tithes and offerings) correctly, in His name, is the foundational way to bring attention to Him! It's the way this invisible woman, called the Bride of Christ, can fulfill the Law of Righteousness and therefore obtain the promises of doing so.
Can you picture this? The church as a corporate body sharing Jesus' throne, as His wife? Do you really think Jesus can have an unrighteous woman sitting beside Him? Remember, righteousness is an act, not a state of being. The church must put on righteousness (white, linen clothing) before she can sit on the throne beside Jesus! It's time for her to be cleansed and make herself ready!

Revelation 19:7-8
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

She will cleanse herself and fulfill the "Law of Righteousness!"

When she does this, she (as a corporate body) will come to a position of authority in the Kingdom of God! This is a place of authority the church in the world has never seen. A man who becomes the president of a country comes into an authority he has never had before. There is authority in the spirit realm, in the Kingdom of God, that comes from different positions in the kingdom. The apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher, pastor all have different authorities in the kingdom, from their particular positions alone! A harlot (the church) has no authority, from being a harlot, in the Kingdom of God! No throne-ship here! Can you imagine the body of Christ coming into the position of Queen in the Kingdom of God? Can you imagine the authority she will have from the position of Queen? From this we see the importance of fulfilling the spiritual law of Righteousness, as a body of believers. A Queen sits on a throne!

Proverbs 16:12
It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.

Intimacy with the Lord is a must for the Bride!

A bride (faithful wife) is intimate with her husband. A harlot is intimate with many men. The Lord made it very clear to me in a vision how the leadership of the church is not being intimate with Him, and by their acts they are intimate with men. This is caused because the leadership of the church does not understand how the Holy Spirit teaches comparing Spiritual with Spiritual (I Cor. 2:13). We have all been guilty of this, myself included. God had to teach me the difference.
We must understand that it is the leadership that makes a body of Christ a Harlot or a Bride. To see this in the Bible we must look at:

I Corinthians 6:15,16
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an Harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an Harlot is one body? For two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

Paul reveals that he is capable of making the members of Christ a member of a Harlot. Because it is leadership that determines whether a body is a Harlot or Bride, it is a must that the leadership be intimate with the Lord like a faithful wife would be. The following vision will paint a picture of the problem. The vision is the judgement of the Lord, not mine..

I was on stage with the Lord. There was an easel, holding a big white board, standing between me and the Lord. In front of the Lord and down a level were men dressed in suits, sitting in regular chairs. The Lord gave them a Word and was standing, with marker in hand, ready to explain the Word He had given them. After getting the Word from the Lord, the men turned to each other and were talking about the Word the Lord had given them. I saw the Lord wait patiently for the men to turn back to Him so He could explain the Word. They didn't, and kept on leaning to their own understanding. He waited quite some time. Then I saw the Lord become angry. He crossed over in front of the easel, towards me. I stepped back, seeing His anger, and not knowing what He was going to do. As He crossed in front of the easel, He suddenly had two mechanical objects in His hands. It was as if the two mechanical objects came from the easel. It was what He was going to explain to them. He slammed these two objects into my chest saying, "You're the only one who would listen!" The force almost knocked me down backwards. I stumbled back, trying to keep my balance, holding the weight of the two mechanical objects in my arms.

Believe me that's the way it's been for me personally! The two mechanical things that He wanted to explain to these men were the mechanics of tithing and mechanics of salvation. I know of several well known men who have received words from the Lord indicating that there is a problem with people not getting saved at their altars. I was also told of a very popular man whom the Lord had given a word concerning the tithe. All these men leaned to their own understanding of the word they received from the Lord.
In the vision it is easy to see the harlotrous act that these men were committing, intimacy (intercourse) with each other (men). The information, their understanding, that was spread through the whole body of men, in the vision, was a product of their understanding of the word of God, not the truth. A Bride is only intimate with her husband, that being the Lord. She gets all her understanding from the Lord, she does what the Lord wants, and she does it His way. This vision should give anyone a clear picture of how we are to be intimate with the Lord. The picture of these men sitting in these chairs and leaning to each other for understanding, rather than the Lord, is a perfect picture of a Harlotrous act. The Lord was patiently waiting and wanting to give understanding. What a shame. There are more people in hell right now because of this harlotrous act; which explains why God says this from His own mouth, concerning the faithful city turned harlot:

Proverbs 7:27
Her house is a way to Hell, . . ..

Being within earshot of the Lord doesn't make you intimate. Just because you hear Him doesn't make you intimate with Him! Having the Holy Spirit move, having the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate, is not being intimate with the Lord! You receive gifts all the time and you aren't intimate with the giver who gives the gifts. To give an example, let's say you were going south on one side of the street, with people around you, and the Lord was going south on the other side. He hollers a Word to you across the street and you receive it, in amongst all the people. A word is a gift. You have a choice of either telling those people around you what the Lord said, conversing with them about what He said, leaning to your own understanding or you can cross the street, walk with the Lord till "He" (at His will) gives you the understanding. After all, He is the one with the understanding of what He just told you, not the people on the street with you. The gifts are all given at His will! FOR A PURPOSE! Therefore, you must entertain the thought of, "Why did He say what He said," and that "why" is only revealed by Him through the full understanding behind what He said! If the Lord told you there are people not getting saved at your altar, would you or should you find out why from Him or lean to your own ideas?
So many times God reveals something, and we apply our understanding to what He said, and move on down the road. This is not intimacy with the Lord.

. . . Let us Solace Ourselves with Loves (Proverbs 7:18)

Does the message being preached in churches today parallel the thoughts which Jonah had that contributed to his disobedience?
After Jonah got out of the fish, the Lord again told him to go to Nineveh. He went in obedience this time, giving the word of the Lord. The people repented of their ways and the Lord relented from bringing a disaster on Nineveh. Jonah was displeased and angry so he prayed to God again. In this prayer we can see what he believed about God.

Jonah 4:2
. . . For I know that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

Jonah knew that God was gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and kind. This is true but all these attributes are on the "love" side of the Gospel. That's why he had the nerve to run away and be disobedient in the first place. Jonah had missed the "God of judgement" when it came to himself, a servant of God. You might ask, "What difference did his disobedience make, since he was finally obedient anyway?" All I know is to share this question God put to me when He was teaching me about Jonah's disobedience, ."What about those people who died between the time of his disobedience and his obedience." I knew these people didn't have a chance to repent and their blood was on Jonah's hands. I know the love message is something we all like to hear and we'll drive miles to hear it. It builds churches just like the prosperity message does. But!
The teaching and preaching in the church concerning God's love is way out of balance with the teaching and preaching of the rest of God's personality. This became a reality to me after what I was shown in heaven. Because of love God made a way to salvation through His Son but that does not change the rules. I was a man who believed God's love overshadowed just about anything. When I stood in heaven, I saw Jesus crying a pool of tears over one believer in hell. God's prefect love didn't override the truth of why she was there. Truth was the controlling factor, not love. If so, Jesus would have already snatched her from that torment. I stood there in the faith that God could do anything, after all nothing is impossible with God. I was bold and actually told Him to go get this woman from hell. I actually believed He could! My great faith, with no doubt, did not overshadow the truth of why she was there. Truth was the controlling factor. Truth is what prevails in heaven no matter what we believe. Jesus said the truth shall set you free, not love. What I thought to be the truth didn't amount to anything in heaven, and neither did my love or the Lord's love toward the lady in hell. Our love was there but it was not the controlling factor.
God's word says to prove all things, yet there are millions and millions of Christians believing and doing unproved things. They are believing what they want to believe and it won't hold water in heaven. Truth overshadows and prevails there. The truth I encountered was laid at the foundation of the world. It has not been changed or altered in any way. What Jesus did was laid at the foundation of the world, He walked it out. Years ago, God told me that I was a prophet whether I ever walked in it or not. This reveals my calling and what is written in heaven about me from the foundation of the world. Whether I walk it out or not is up to me. Whether you believe it or not does not change what God has established in heaven. My denying it wouldn't change what is written there, either.
This is an opportunity to say to those who haven't answered the Lord's call, denied it, or think, God released me from it, "look out!" The gifts and callings of God are without repentance. You were bought and paid for by the Lord at the cross for a purpose and He chose you, you didn't choose Him. Your purpose was ordained from the foundation of the world and when you get to heaven you will be faced with this truth. God hasn't changed His mind! Whatever you believed to be true about your calling or whatever your excuse, won't mean diddle in the light of what God established from the foundation of the world. What was laid there is unchangeable by your belief (faith). His love for you will not overshadow your already established calling. When God granted Israel a King against His own will, it did not change the fact that they weren't supposed to have any king other than the Messiah. God is looking for you to be obedient to His calling but He leaves it up to you. What is written and ordained is a legal matter and God's love does not change that. When you are in heaven, will you see Him wave His arm and open up the scene of all the people you were supposed to have touched, or have a part in touching, here on earth? I hope not!
Jesus walked out every jot and tittle of what the Father expected Him to do. His actions held up in the courts of heaven. It has to be legal. That's why Hebrews 9: 16,17 says:

For where a testament is, there must also be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator lives.

Your last will and testament, as a person, is not in effect until you die; it's a legal matter. Jesus said no one could put Him to death; instead He went willingly. Why? So His actions would legally hold up in the courts of heaven. Christians sing, "We are marching to Zion," etc. Do you know Mount Zion is the place where God keeps His legal records?
The actions of the woman ordained to be the Bride must also hold up in the courts of heaven for her to be "the Bride." The harlot church won't be, she doesn't qualify because of her actions. God has done everything legally since the Garden of Eden, so what He has done would hold up in the courts of heaven. Pure truth is the controlling, overshadowing factor. What the Bride is to be was established at the foundation of the world. God is not making up the rules as we go along, nor is He asking the advice of church leaders, or saved people. It has to do with education and learning the acts of a harlot and the acts of a bride as a church body. The Bride spotless must needs be and will be. Wake up, church!
In the book of Revelation God's word speaks of those who can't enter into the "Bride." One of those aspects concerns love: . . . and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie (Rev. 22:15). There is a love that has the end result of making a lie. The results of the "out of balance love movement in the church" and lack of God's truth was why I was standing in heaven, looking into hell to see a believer there. One time God said to me, "You lie all the time, (in order) not to offend." It was the truth, but there are those of the "Love movement" who would say that what I heard was not of God because it was critical. It wasn't critical, it was the truth. Jesus spoke the truth and offended a lot of people but He was loving them by telling them the truth. Love and truth are inseparable in God's realm. God is truth and God is Love.
A harlot is recognized by her acts. Anywhere God reveals the thoughts and acts of a harlot, this also represents a picture of the church that has the thoughts and acts of a harlot. Look at what God says a harlot thinks and says: (Proverbs 7:18-20) 18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. 19 For the goodman (Jesus) is not at home, he is gone a long journey: 20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed. This harlot is expecting the return of the head of the house - Jesus. What is she saying to do because the Lord is gone for now: let us solace ourselves with loves.
God is Love but He is also the Truth, the Light, and the Way. Love does not erase or overshadow the truth that God has already established, the ability of God to give you light, or the narrow way Jesus talked about that leads to life. The love preaching overkill is giving people an incorrect picture and accelerates disobedience to God.
Look at the picture presented concerning Moses. He struck a rock in disobedience to God so he didn't get to enter the promised land. The (love movement) people of today believe that God's love would have overshadowed that one little "wrong" (struck, instead of touched). After all, look at what Moses did in obedience to God. Look at the miracles God performed through Moses' faith. The original Israelites who left Egypt didn't get to the promised land because of their disobedience, even though they had seen miracle after miracle. Would God do that, He's a God of Love?
God moved Adam and Eve out of the garden because of one act of disobedience. The love message leaves one with the impression that we can do anything, ask forgiveness, and God will supernaturally erase the results of our disobedience. If a woman commits adultery, becomes pregnant, and subsequently asks forgiveness, she still has to deal with the results of disobedience, a child.
We are living with the results of a harlot church in the world. If the church was acting as a bride, or a wife to the Lord, the world would be a different place. The early church acted as a Bride and changed the then known world. Unfortunately they soon fell into disobedience just like the Israelites of the Old Testament! God is still waiting on this woman, the church, to get her act together. She must prepare herself for marriage (Revelation 19:7). It's time!

Has the love overkill unknowingly affected you and lured you to sleep?

Consider salvation. The love overkill has left Christians thinking things like "I just don't believe people in the jungles and under-developed places are going to hell because they haven't heard about Jesus. What about people who work righteousness, aren't they going to make it? What about people who have lived good decent lives? OH, it'll be alright! We'll all get there someday, some way.
My friend, Let us Solace Ourselves with Loves (Proverbs. 7:18) has crept in unawares luring you to sleep! Do you know what you are saying? You are saying that God made a mistake by saying mankind needed a savior. You are saying Jesus went to the cross for nothing. You are making a mockery of everything God has done since the fall of man. The Bible says,

Ephesians 2:8,9
for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works least any man should boast.

This rules out good lives, righteousness (works) as the prerequisite for eternal life. God says He sent His Son that the world might be saved through Him, not works. Wake up, Mr. Christian. You have been lured to sleep by love message flack (overkill), and you are calling God a liar! That's strong, but think about it! The love teachings, without the rest of the personality of God, have let this type of thinking creep into the church all over the world. It is the main accelerator of disobedience. I have only touched a corner of the problems this imbalance has caused, but I hope you will begin to see the picture.

The Lord's Picture of the Harlot

On 4/25/96, the Lord spoke to me through another person ..

You are not to take lightly the things I've taught you in the past. You are not to take lightly the things I've shown you in the night, and what I'm teaching you now.

The Lord was setting the stage for what He was about to reveal to me. It is obvious that He was making sure that I do not play down the significance of what He had taught me before that time and what He was about to show me. If it is that important to me, it is important to you! Ironically, it is important to God that we understand so that the Bride will be established in the Earth!
A few days after this word was given to me, the Lord spoke to me and said., "I painted a picture of the harlot church all through the Bible." I thought, "OH, Lord! This is not something I want to know." Nevertheless in obedience, I gathered scriptures that contained the word "harlot" on my computer and the Lord enlightened my understanding as I read. I sat with amazement at the picture that unfolded before my eyes.
At this time the Lord told me .,"There is no ministry on earth that is not committing a harlotrous act!" So listen up! When the Lord comes He is not going to reward a spotted church, nor is He going to reward one that is committing harlotrous acts.
If you've browsed around this site before, you know that the Lord has shown me the Bride's gown.. It was on earth, not in heaven. Jesus said that no one is given in marriage in heaven. The marriage of the church is on earth, not in heaven. It must happen on earth to be established in heaven just as the crucifixion had to happen on earth to establish what it needed to establish in heaven. What happens on earth is established in heaven. Jesus said whatever you bind or loose on earth is bound or loosed in heaven. The marriage of the church to Jesus must happen on earth to establish legal things in heaven and it is also instrumental in the redemption of men. The church is the Lord's vessel in the earth, His representative, His hands and feet. She is to become glorious in the earth and in His eyes. The Lord needs the church to be glorious on earth, not in heaven. He doesn't need a glorious church in heaven because everyone there is already doing the will of God! The church in the earth is not glorious now because it is running in the understanding, doctrines, and ideas of men as to what she is, and what she is to do. She is a harlot.
I want you to pinch the skin of your arm. Now look at it. You need to realize that you are no different than John the Baptizer. You're no different than Moses. They had skin and they could do just what you're doing. You are also no different than the man who was stoned to death because he disobeyed God and caused a nation to lose 35 lives because of his disobedience. These men were all of one nationality; one was disobedient and the others obedient, that was the difference. What God says about us has to do with what we do, our acts, not who we are. For example, picture any woman who becomes betrothed to a man. From the moment she becomes engaged her acts determine whether she is really faithful to her betrothed. Her acts determine whether she is a harlot or a bride towards her future husband. Remember, a woman is called a bride before the act of marriage. The church was born and betrothed to Her husband at the cross and fits this picture, as a corporate body.
Jesus still loves His bride to be, even though she is unknowingly committing harlotrous acts towards Him at this very moment. When we talk about the Harlot we're not talking about sin, saved or unsaved. You, as a Christian, can be called wicked because of a wicked act. It doesn't change the fact of who you are. It comes from your acts. And you must realize that the Lord still loves you in spite of any wicked act you committed. It's the act (of harlotry) the Lord doesn't like, mainly because of the fruit of it. God is not condemning anyone and neither am I. But if we do what God considers to be the act of a harlot, we are a Harlot. That's true in a church (corporate body) situation, also. Nevertheless, Jesus still loves His people. Keep this paragraph in mind as I share who the Harlot is.
The Lord's picture shows us that only saved people can play the Harlot. No one in the world can be the Harlot of Christ except His own people. It comes from our acts as individuals and as a corporate body. The Lord says: I have covered you. I have loved you all this time. I have given you gifts. I have multiplied your silver. We must see how much the Lord has loved the church in spite of its present acts of harlotry as a corporate body. But there's coming a time when the Lord will say, "I am going to expose your harlotrous ways. I'm going to unclothe you and expose you." He will just simply say, "NO MORE!" He is a God of truth and of righteous judgments!
I want to share something that happened during the week that the Lord showed me who the Harlot is. After He revealed His picture of the harlot church in the Bible to me I spent two days at the computer trying to put it in writing. On the day that He revealed all this to me I could not go to sleep. I finally got up at 3 o'clock in the morning. Then I did something that the Bible says we all do. I went into denial. The Bible talks about the fact that when we hear the truth, we get offended. Well, that is a fact most of the time! I've seen a lot of people get offended simply because they heard a truth they really did not want to hear. I knew and understood what He was saying but writing it down in black and white caused me to deny it. I went into denial mainly because I didn't want to deal with what the Lord had shown me! I said, "Oh Lord, that couldn't have been You!" But He dealt with me and let me know for sure that I had heard Him. I guess I was upset, but really, there was no reason to be.
You see, the marriage of the church to the Lamb is for a time appointed. The time is now! The church and everything about the church - is as it is. And until God moves us out of harlotry we are in harlotry. Until it is gone, it is not gone. He has started to move us out! Will the church really enter into real cleansing as a corporate body, in preparation for marriage to the King of Kings? In the book of Revelation it is clear that the betrothed woman, the church, must prepare herself for marriage! (Revelation 19:7)
Having said all this, I return to my experience. In my computer I brought all the scriptures that contained the word "harlot" together, and I began to read those particular scriptures. To my surprise I soon found out that I didn't need to understand the stories surrounding those scriptures to understand the picture the Lord was now starting to show me. He was simply painting a mural with the picture each scripture painted.
When an artist paints a picture they jump around with little details and gradually the picture is born. You can not see the picture with just a few details of it. That is why you will need to read all that this site presents, and will present, to understand the full picture.

Only God's people can play the Harlot!

Ezekiel 23:5
And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine.

The picture, a person who is the Lord's plays the Harlot.

Hosea 4:15
Though thou, Israel, play the Harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, the Lord livith.

Here we see that it is God's people (corporate body, nation), and only God's people, who can play the Harlot. (Israel didn't stop being God's people while playing the Harlot. In a church setting, only believers can play the Harlot! Not a non-believer.) Think about it, only a betrothed can play a harlot. This picture became simple as I understood that you can't be unfaithful unless there is someone to be unfaithful to!

Men cannot see Her!

Genesis 38:21,22
Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place. And he returned to Judah, and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place.

As I looked at these words in Genesis I thought, "God started painting this picture of the harlot church in Genesis! He had a plan all along." Here the Lord began to deal with me and opened my understanding so I would be set on the right path of thought. The picture I saw was this: Men cannot see her, even the ones looking for her, even though she's right there with men, right out in the open. The Lord impressed upon me that the Harlot was close at hand. It was as if I could just reach out and touch her as I was sitting there at the computer. The Lord said, "No man can see Her without Me exposing her." (With that I was set on the right path of thought.) I knew men have written books saying this church is a Harlot, or that church is a Harlot. I now knew without a doubt that these men were in error. I came to understand that (we) men cannot find (see) the Harlot church with their (our) own understanding unless she is exposed by the Lord. Little did I know that what the Lord had just said to me would show up later in the picture painted by the scriptures.
I will share some thoughts and experiences as we move through this picture. I have already experienced part of the picture painted by these two scriptures in Genesis. . . . the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place. I have talked to pastors and they, for the most part, will tell you the church is spotted and needs to be cleaned up. But if I mention harlotry they say that's the other church down the road, or that's not us, etc. They are offended at the thought. In essence they are saying, ". . .there was (is) no harlot in this place."

After she is found out she must be burnt!

Genesis 38: 23,24
23 And Judah said, let her take it to her, least we be ashamed: behold, I sent this kid, and thou hast not found her. 24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the Harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her fourth, and let her be burnt.

This picture indicates that after the harlot is found out, she must be burnt. We must realize who she is, then destroy her and therefore the fruits of her acts. You can not destroy harlotry or the fruits of harlotry if you don't know "what they are" in a church situation. In this scripture it became obvious that this young girl was pregnant in the physical. These fruits are all around us (the church) right now, in the physical, but the church can't recognize the fruit because they can't see it, do to their lack of understanding. The scriptures present some pictures of the "fruit" of harlotry. I will point them out as I come to them.
Once the Harlot is recognized, her ways must be burnt. This has to do with a fire, the truth, cleansing the church of her harlotrous acts as a corporate body. Men must burn the acts of harlotry, not the Lord. That is part of the picture presented here. The Holy spirit brings the truth, the fire, but men must change the acts of the church as a corporate body.

Let us reason together

Isaiah 1:18-20
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

This picture reveals that although a Christian's sins are made white through the blood of Christ, they must still be obedient to the Lord in order to eat the good of the land. Rebellion brings destruction of what one already has (Fruit unseen, unknown). God is speaking to the harlot and says, "Let us reason together." Use your minds, reason, think. You have to use your mind to follow after the things of the Spirit (in obedience) as an individual and as a corporate body! I must say here that everything the Lord has taught me about the acts of bride-ship are simple, practical and make prefect sense. That is why God is saying to use reason - you can understand! Reason with the Lord, don't just use your own reasoning, and leave Him out.

How is the faithful city become an harlot!

Isaiah 1: 21-23
21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. 22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: 23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

Here we get a picture of a faithful City (the original church that converted the then known world) that became a Harlot! In the book of Revelation the Bride is represented as a city. The faithful city was full of good judgement and righteous acts. But soon after the apostles died, she became a harlot. The church in the world is a product of that "falling away." And now, by our actions and wrong motives, wrong patterns of thought, we continue mixing things that shouldn't have been mixed together. As I read, I understood "but now murderers" (unknown fruit of harlotry) because the Lord had already shown me that the church has blood on it's hands because of the doctrines and traditions of men. I understood "Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves" and the rest of the scripture because the Lord had shown me how His treasury is to be correctly used. As to "every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards" look at some of the unrealized motives of people attending church. Doesn't it come out of our mouths? "I really enjoyed the singing." "I just love to hear so-and-so." "God's going to make my life prosperous!" "I'm believing for. . ." "What a blessing!" "The Holy Spirit really moved on . . .." This is all heaping upon ourselves! You need to get the picture of "every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards."

The harlot church in the world is every Christian's mother.

Hosea 2: 2 - 9
2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;

Every person who is saved in the world today has the church for a mother, in some way. But our mother, the church, has been committing whoredoms. She is not the Lord's wife and the Lord is not her husband. She has not been intimate with Him as a bride should be. She has been intimate with her own kind. (See: Intimacy is a must for the Bride ) God says to plead with her to change her ways or else . . . .

The Lord is going to deal with the harlot church that doesn't move towards Bride-ship!

3 Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst. 4 And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms.

The Lord has not striped the harlot church yet but if she doesn't move with Him, He will. He will not have mercy on her children because they are children of bad seed, bad thought patterns. (Fruit unseen, unknown) When God finally moved to flood the earth, He didn't save the children because He knew there was no righteous seed in them that could grow and produce righteousness. Harlotry produces Harlotry (Fruit unseen, unknown). Understand, we are talking about destroying the acts of an organization here.

The Harlot is focused on serving the people that she thinks supplies her wealth, both physically and spiritually.

5 For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.

I saw that the focus is unknowingly on ourselves. "I (the church) will preach only those things in the Bible that don't offend. I will attend to those who love me and support me." The church in the world teaches and preaches things that keep her alive. We see: My bread, My water, My wool, etc. This really says We are! or I am! The church says, "Give me only the Word of God that increases ourselves, our lives, our material possessions," the church's material possessions, not the Lord's true kingdom. She believes these things are hers but the Lord says they are His.

The Lord is going to apply pressure and this will cause some to seek Him!

6 Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths. 7 And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.

The church in the world knows there is more but just keeps doing what it's doing because she is a teacher with itching ears! She can do nothing different than follow men, her lovers, but God is going to make her miserable until she becomes teachable again. The first husband is the Lord, the truth. Out of the Harlot will come the Bride Spotless because of pressure, and/or tribulation. The pride of man is the main reason some won't come into bride-ship.

The Lord has loved, taken care of, and given to the harlot, even though she unknowingly uses His money for evil purposes.

8 For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.

The Harlot does not understand everything the Lord has done for her, and provided for her. She does not understand that the church's wealth, which was multiplied by the Lord, is being used for evil, unrighteous purposes.

The Lord has been covering the harlot's nakedness. Think of what He'll do for the Bride!

9 Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness

Here we get a picture that reveals that the Lord is going to intervene in a specific season and expose the harlot by taking away His wool and His flax which He provided to cover her nakedness. He has loved the people! He has been taking care of the harlot all along. Notice, He doesn't recover the wealth. He can't, because it's used up. She spent it on evil (unrighteous) purposes. This is where I saw, in the picture presented, what He had told me as I started in Genesis. The Lord said, "No man can see Her without Me exposing her."

Men don't know the acts of a harlot, nor do they see her wrong motives.

Proverbs 7:6-20
6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, 7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, 8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, 9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: 10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtle of heart.

God speaks from His own mouth about the harlot in Proverbs. [Clothing symbolizes acts and attitudes in the Bible.] This was the picture I saw as I read. A young man, void of understanding, walking the earth is lured by a woman clothed in the attire of a Harlot. Because of the lack of knowledge the man didn't recognize the attire of the harlot. She looks good to him. She is subtle of heart. She wants him to fulfill her own desires (survival), which takes numbers of men. I thought about Harlots who walk the streets of towns all over the world. Most dress differently, trying to entice men to themselves. They do it to make a living, for the most part. It is the only way they know how to survive.
I have shared how the Lord's treasury is to be spent with quite a few Christians. Many have responded with, "How will the church survive?" Ironically, the Lord had forewarned me of this response to the correct deliverance of His wealth. This reveals the incorrect thought pattern that we have, that we focus on the survival of the church, not the will of the Lord. Who do we really Love the most? A harlot loves herself more than her betrothed! If you stand back and look at the situation, you'll see that the churches in the world all say we do something a little different, "We are the ones who are right. Come here, don't go there." (Different clothing to entice, to bring numbers, so we can survive.)

Her character?

11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

This picture describes her character. She makes a lot of loud noise and is stubborn towards the real things of God. [ I remember how stiff-necked I was, hanging onto my beliefs when the Lord was teaching me differently. Oh how I have drug my feet when it comes to my purpose in the earth!] This harlot is out doing her own thing, as her feet don't abide in her own house (proselytizing, trying to enhance her boarders). I thought about how prostitutes dress differently to entice (pull) men from other prostitutes, saying, "Choose me!"

The Harlot church is (in wait) at every corner.

12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.) 13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,

I remembered a saying about the mid-west, "There is a church on every corner." I sat in awe as the Lord's picture of the harlot church confirmed what He had said to me, "There is not one ministry in the earth that is not committing an act of Harlotry."

She says, "Look at what all I have done."

14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I paid my vows. 15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. 16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. 17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon

Do you see the picture? She thinks everything is alright. "We are at peace with the Lord. We are doing what we should. Look at what I have done!" She goes out seeking souls, not realizing things are not right in her own house. She thinks, "I have paid my vows to my future husband." She has in reality decked her bed with the fine linen of Egypt. It should be decked with righteousness. She has the devil's (deception) duplicate of righteousness and doesn't know it! Remember, this is God talking in Proverbs. She feels comfortable. The church in the world does a lot of saying, "Look what we are doing as a church!" A true biblical bride goes about her husband's business, not speaking of herself, nor bringing attention to herself. Does the church in the world?

Her main love (intimacy) should be between her and the Lord, not between her and men.

18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

Concerning love . . . and whosoever loveth an maketh a lie. Rev. 22:15. The harlot is outside bride-ship. She is spreading her love (intimacy) everywhere except to her husband! Completed Love is an act. She doesn't really realize that love and truth are inseparable in God's realm. Because she is not intimate with the Lord she is not intimate with pure truth. She is preaching the love message out of balance with the full gospel. (See: Let us solace ourselves with loves and Intimacy with the Lord is a must for the Bride!)

The Harlot believes Jesus is coming back at the day appointed
but she thinks He took His money with Him.

19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: 20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

I understood this picture because the Lord had already taught me the correct dispersal of His bag of money. The harlot thinks her money is hers, to do with as she pleases, and this is shown by the picture presented here by her saying that her husband took His money with him. (See all of what's under: The Lord's Treasury.)

The good man in the above scripture is Jesus, Mark 13:34-36

34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock crowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

The harlot is a church who believes her husband is coming back!

A Harlot's doctrines are not founded on words that come directly from the mouth of God!

Proverbs 7:24-27
24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. 25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. 26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

In this picture God is speaking to His children, unlearned people. Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." There is a difference between the words in scripture that come from God's mouth and the rest of scripture. The harlot's basic teachings (beliefs), unknown to her, are not founded on, or contain, the words that came directly from God's mouth, or His Son's.

All acts of Harlotry lead to Hell. (Fruit unseen, unknown)

Proverbs 7:27
27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Proverbs 6: 21-23
21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. 22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; 23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

Get this picture! God is revealing that the life we're talking about is eternal life. The Harlot's house is the way to hell. He's not talking about hell on earth, He's talking about Hell.
The Harlot church in the world is a way to hell. I was in a church and I heard the pastor saying that they had taken a survey in their own denomination and that according to what they believed it takes to become saved, 35 percent of those surveyed were not saved. If I take literally what the Lord told me, then the following is true. Using 1000 people, then according to this domination's belief, 350 of them are not saved. That leaves 650 people that this denomination says are saved. The Lord has revealed to me that 48 percent of the people the church says are saved, are not really saved. (See all that is under Salvation.) So we take 52 percent of 650 and we find that only 338 people are really saved out of the original 1000, 338 out of 1000. Of course that's if we take things literally. At any rate, God is right! The Harlot church is a way to hell because of men's doctrines and traditions. Men aren't aware that harlotry causes/allows false doctrines concerning salvation. You can understand! (See, Intimacy with the Lord is a must for the bride!)

The church must receive God's messengers.

James 2:24,25
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

In this picture, a Harlot used her faith, including an act, and became justified. She received the messengers. Who are the messengers in the church? According to the word of God, the Prophets and the Apostles. Is the body of Christ going to receive the function (office) of an apostle, and/or the function (office) of a prophet? All through the Bible their function was to correct. I'm not talking about false prophets nor people who prophesy here. I'm talking about the office of a prophet. Will the leadership receive these functions sent by God? God doesn't do things outside of His own word, His own structure!

The root cause of Harlotry! (New Testament - Paul speaking!)

1 Corinthians 6:13-16
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

The fact is leadership "leads" and if there are harlotrous acts by the church, as a corporate body, it is because of the lack of knowledge in the leadership, not the general body. Leadership can not walk in something it doesn't understand, but that doesn't negate the church's harlotrous acts. Harlotry is harlotry, no mater who commits it or why it is committed. It is the leadership who will lead any corporate body out of harlotry, if that body comes out at all. The Lord told me to call forth the Bride. It's time for change in the church!
The picture here also reveals that if you're joined with a harlot you become one. Please understand that God is not condemning leadership by presenting the truth that Harlotry is caused by leadership. It is just a fact! God is not a critical God but a God of absolute truth!

In closing, God told me ., "Remember, it's for me and not for you!" Within those words lays one basic difference in the thought patterns of a bride as compared to those of a harlot. A biblical wife serves her husband and him only, not herself. How much do we as Christians really Love the Lord? Enough to set our eyes on Bride-ship, or do we have that "Oh, it'll be all right" attitude? Do you Love the Lord enough to get on your face before Him to find out if what I'm saying is true? The Lord actually told me to say this to you!."  You get with your spirit and God and find out if what I'm saying is true."

Will the church keep heading down the same old path? After being in heaven, I am here to tell you that there is a day of reckoning coming. And that day is closing in! That's why the Lord said not to take this lightly! Mr. Christian, it is God, Himself, who is saying not to take this lightly! If this is that important for me to write down and/or preach, then it is that important for you to receive, understand, and walk in what God has revealed by His Spirit concerning harlotry!

Why? Because mankind needs the spotless church in the earth.

Come forth, Bride!

Cleansing before Glory!
God's general flow of:
The Marriage of the Church in the Earth!

Revelation 19:7,8
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

God revealed to me that it is the same as a Jewish wedding!  Let's look at the steps and the picture presented.

1. A Jewish woman was betrothed at a very young age; a legal document was made.
The Church's marriage was legally ordained by God, at the foundation of the world, to occur at a specific period in time.

2. Time approaches for the marriage of the Jewish woman and preparations begin to be made for her marriage to Her husband.
God starts setting the stage for end time events which includes the preparation of the church for marriage to His Son.

3. The Jewish woman goes through a cleansing and this takes time, with certain things being done to cleanse her. She is weakened from fasting and sometimes carried to the place of the ceremony. (She must be cleansed before the ceremony!)
God reveals spots on the church so she can make herself ready.  It takes time for her cleansing and through purging, her flesh is weakened and no longer rules the church. (No cleansing, no gown.)

4. The Jewish woman puts on her bride's gown.
The Church has learned, through her cleansing, how to put on righteous acts (gown of fine linen) as a corporate body and does so in preparation for the ceremony.  This gown of righteousness is different than other garments of fine linen and the church has learned the difference.

5. The Jewish woman goes to the ceremony, the covenant is entered into and she takes on her husband's name permanently.
The Church has learned from her cleansing how to take on the Lord's name, by delivering His tithe in His name, etc. She sees that it is good to have His name on and never turns from it. The Church comes into complete covenant with the Lord, which includes her complete obedience.  The Lord can now legally protect His Bride! The glory of the Lord will
be her rear guard!

6. The Bride and Groom are separated from others and consummate the marriage (intimacy).
The Church has learned, through the cleansing of her spots, how to be and remain intimate with the Lord, even though He is still in Heaven! The Church becomes separated from the world system and is taken care of by the Lord, obeying His every command. Harlotry has been purged from her, as her eyes are on her Husband and what He is doing in the earth.
The Glory of the Lord is beginning to be seen in her and in the earth.

7. After this intimacy between the Bride and Groom, they return to the people and then comes the wedding feast. The people enjoy the same food as the Bride and Groom!
The people of the world need the marriage of the Lamb to take place, so they can have an opportunity to come to the wedding feast. To God be the GLORY! The church has been a vessel of God's use, even though she has
been spotted and harlotrous towards the Lord. Think what He can do with a Spotless Bride in the earth! Come forth, Bride!

Head towards walking in covenant with God by understanding the three spots on the body of Christ, as revealed by the Lord through His Spirit!

What's in a Name? or, The Yellow Pages!

Because of the possibility that this article may upset some people, I will say this first. We, in the body of Christ, need to become very aware of the fact that anything we do as a corporate body that detracts or subtracts from the cause of Christ (in the earth) is wrong for us to do! As I was thinking about putting this article on the Web, I remembered how strong the anointing of the Lord was when I wrote it. The thoughts about the yellow pages came while I was writing, and then, as I was finishing I actually typed, "I don't know about you, but I'm convinced." I sat for a moment, realizing the Lord had a big hand in writing it. With that, all I can do is ask you to read this writing with the cause of Christ in your heart and soul.
We as Christians, the corporate body of Christ, need to understand what is in a name and what a name is. It is important that names are right, especially in a move of God. Names describe and affect the outcome. That's why God changed names in the Bible, so things would come to pass.

Genesis 17:5
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

God changed Abraham's name from Abram, meaning "high father," to Abraham, meaning "father of a multitude." God did this to bring his name into agreement with what He had made Abraham. Every time people spoke his name they were establishing what it meant. In other words, God brought the men of the earth into agreement with Himself, by changing Abram's name to Abraham. When men spoke it, they were not only agreeing with God, but also decreeing what Abraham's name meant.
Jesus said His words were both spirit and life. Words produce. You can build up a person with words, or tear down a person with words. The world was framed and became manifested by God's words. When you speak a name you are calling forth, declaring what it means, or establishing what it is!
What does God call His church? The Bible refers to the church as the "church" and never divides it up into individual names like man has.

The church at Corinth,
The church at Philippi . . . Etc.

In the book of Revelation, where Jesus is correcting the various churches, it says,

And to the angel of the church of Smyrna, write; . . . .
And to the angel of the church in Pergamose, write; . . . .
And to the angel of the church in Thyatira, write; . . . .

Here we see the Lord refer to the church as the "Church" in/of a certain place. In all of the correction that came from the Lord to the churches in Revelation, there is nothing about changing or taking on a name. It is easy to see that the name is the same (church), just descriptive of where the group was located. The location was only given so specific information would reach particular groups.

To further explain, let's insert a common church name into what was written in Revelation.

And to the angel of the church of Methodism, write;. . . .
or
And to the angel of the Methodist church, write; . . . .

The reason this is not like what's in the book of Revelation is that Methodist or Methodism is representative of a type of belief, not a place. In the Bible, the "church" was representative of "one's belief" or "who they were" and the rest had to do with location. The name, the "church" - encompasses all that God says it is. The word Methodist, Baptist, etc., indicates sects, types of beliefs, and eliminates and/or restricts portions of what God says the "church" is to be.

The yellow pages?

If you've been praying for unity to come into the body of Christ, the church, and you really mean it, let me show you something that will stir your spirit and your soul. Suppose we rename all the churches in Oxford, Kansas with what God calls them. The Methodist church would be, "the Church at 117 N Kansas, Oxford." The First Baptist Church would be, "the Church at 113 E Myrtle, Oxford." The Oxford Christian Church would be, " the Church at 120 W Clark, Oxford."

The telephone book's yellow pages would look something like this!

the Church at 117 N Kansas, Oxford...........455-2547
the Church at 113 E Myrtle, Oxford............455-2527
the Church at 120 W Clark, Oxford.............455-3659
the Church at 415 W Maple St., Oxford......455-3561
Etc.

I hope you can see the resounding effect this would have on the public: to open the phone books of the world, and see all churches, all over the world, "in unity" about who they are! ................... Can you see the power of a simple united front? Someone just might think we have something the world doesn't, namely Jesus! But now they open the phone book and all they see is division, a divided body of Christ! You see, God always knows best.
Does this division of names affect the public? Yes, it sure does! I've had more than one person ask me, "Who's right and why do we have all these denominations?" Some have experienced the Lord only to disappointedly find His body divided. I know one person who has rejected Jesus, at least for now, because of this very thing.
If we refer to the church as God does, we would say "the Church at Oxford, KS." Could we reverse this and say, "the Oxford Church", "the Wellington Church", "the Wichita Church," etc.? The reason the reverse is not right is because of emphasis being placed on the name of the town instead of "the Church." Where do you think the emphasis should be? So we must return to the format revealed in the Bible, "the Church at Oxford, etc." It really comes down to do we love Jesus and His cause or do we love a particular group (sect) of people and/or their specific cause?
Names, other than the one given by God, have only brought confusion and division into the Lord's church and into the world. The Lord's church is called the "church" in Heaven and if it was called the "church" on earth, it would eliminate a lot of confusion. We pray, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!" There is confusion on earth, not in Heaven. Who's the author of confusion? It is the devil, who comes in while men sleep.
God speaks in the Bible of His people playing the harlot, both the nation of Israel and His church. Harlots stand on street corners and are of similar type to each other. They are in competition for clients and sometimes each other's clients. They dress differently to show or suggest they have something the others don't. The dress that the church in the world has on, what the world sees, is a building and a name. The people (the church) go into the building and a name every time they attend. You can go in and not take on the name but if you keep attending, you take on that name and everything it implies. What a shame! It doesn't make sense to call the church something other than what God does. It's like calling an apple, an orange. God calls it the "church" but man labels it something else, for man's purpose, for purposes of competition. "Look at me, I'm different." We are the body of Christ but the world sees a divided body of Christ because of names.
One needs to stop and really look at what the yellow pages would look like for more than a moment, so I have reinserted that image.

the Church at 117 N Kansas, Oxford...........455-2547
the Church at 113 E Myrtle, Oxford............455-2527
the Church at 120 W Clark, Oxford.............455-3659
the Church at 415 W Maple St., Oxford......455-3561
Etc.

Think about it! The leadership of the churches would have a major attitude adjustment! Sermons would change! The cause of Christ would most certainly be enhanced!

Let's look again at what God said to Abraham.

Genesis 17:5
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Could God, being absolute truth, absolutely flawless, legally have done with Abraham what He did if He had left Abraham's name, Abram, meaning "high father," instead of Abraham, meaning "father of multitudes?" NO! Could Abraham become who God had ordained him to become had he kept the name Abram? NO! Has the church become what God called it to be? NO! Are all these names that men have labeled the church having a dividing, hindering effect on what God wants? YES! I've heard a lot of Christians go on about the fact that we, the body of Christ, need to come into unity. If we'll come into unity with God we'll find ourselves in unity.
Remember, it's the acts as a corporate body that determine whether a woman is a harlot, or a Bride. A true bride brings attention to her husband, not herself. When God's own people do not agree with Him about their corporate name, it is an act of Harlotry! Whenever you say the Baptist Church, or Methodist Church, or any other name, you are calling forth something less than God intended. God wants a lot more for His people than they are enjoying. Let's glorify God and not our denominations, nondenominational names, etc. Do the names in the phone book matter? It does to the Lord or He wouldn't have brought this to our attention!
